Job Description

NHS Administrator Location: SwanseaJob Type: Temporary, duration ongoingManpower is recruiting an experienced Administrator to work for our client, the NHS.Main duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the unit, ensuring efficiency
  • Booking in of patients and ambulances
  • Handling incoming calls and providing excellent customer service to patients and their families and those involved in their care
  • Manage patient records and documentation in compliance with relevant policies and procedures using WPAS and Signal.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals and other administrative staff to facilitate a smooth flow of patient discharges
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an administrative role within the NHS or a similar health care setting is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using WPAS or similar administrative software is preferred.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients, medical staff, and other stakeholders.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to handling various administrative tasks.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data protection standards.
Working hoursYou will be required to work 3 long shifts per week, the shifts will be across 7 days, Monday to Friday. Shift times are 7 am - 7.30 pm and 7.30 pm - 7.00 amHourly rateWeekdays £11.45Saturdays & Nights £16.14Sundays & Bank Holidays £20.95Additional information
