Job Summary:A Cardiac Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) is a vital member of the cardiac surgical team responsible for providing high-quality perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery. They work closely with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and otherhealthcare professionals to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients throughout the surgical process. The role encompasses a wide range of duties, including preparation of the operating room, assisting surgeons during procedures, monitoring patientsvital signs, and post-operative care.-Block booking available-Looking for someone happy to cover on call-Start ASAPQualifications and Skills:

Bachelors degree or equivalent in Operating Department Practice or a related field.
Certification as a Registered Operating Department Practitioner (RODP).
Additional specialized training or certification in cardiac surgery is highly desirable.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and surgical procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and professionalism.
