Do you share our health board values; Caring for each other; working together; always improving If so we would love for you to come and work for SBU HB.We have an exciting opportunity to work within the department of Lower GI surgery as a Pelvic Oncology Fellow to commence April 2021 until October 2021 in the first instanceGeneral Surgery Services at SBU University Health Board are provided for the local populations (over 270,000 residents) of Swansea, Neath, Port Talbot, and tertiary services are provided to the wider population of Mid and South West Wales (population 1,000,000).The Department of Lower GI Surgery forms part of the Surgical Directorate, which includes Colorectal, Pancreatic, Bariatric, Oesophageal, Vascular and Urology Surgery. The Directorate is led by a Clinical Director supported by a Clinical Lead, General Manager and a Head of Nursing.We have close links with Swansea University and other University College partners in South Wales especially in the areas of research & development and multi-professional teaching.We place great emphasis on continuous professional development and will actively support you in the development and achievement of personal goals.SB University Local Health Board has responsibility for the health of over 270,000 people and is one of the largest providers of integrated healthcare in the UK.
