Job Description

Reed Talent Solutions are supporting a Swansea based NHS Trust on the search for an Audio Typist to join their expanding team.SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Audio Typing medical terminology
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills with people from a wide variety of background
  • Able to produce work to a high standard of accuracy and detail.
  • Proven IT skills - word processing, email.
  • Reliable, dependable with good time keeping
  • Ability to self-motivate, work under pressure and work on own initiative
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To provide an efficient and accurate audio typing service using the computer systems
  • Liaise with medical secretaries regarding the progress of work and bookings.
  • In conjunction with the coordinator adapt and assist with the implementation of changes to procedures as required by the Business Support Administrator.
  • During the absence of colleagues provide essential cover and carry out any other appropriate duties to ensure the continuing provision of the service.
  • Use of office equipment such as a photocopier, fax machine
  • Manage and prioritise workload and time appropriately including planning, allocating and evaluating work carried out by self and providing feedback where difficulties have been experience.
