An opportunity has arisen for a 12 month locum in a well-established Palliative Care service in South Wales.You will primarily be based in Morriston Hospital reviewing patients in this tertiary hospital within a team of doctors and CNS’.You will have the opportunity to gain experience in tertiary medicine, acute palliative care and cancer MDT working. There will be opportunities to complete quality improvement projects during this post and you would be supported should you wish to undergo CESAR application during this period.You do not necessarily need to be on the Palliative Care Specialist register and would be well supported by colleagues within the department and within the wider delivery unit structure, but would need to work independently. To this end you should demonstrate training to, or experience at, consultant level in one or more relevant specialties.
