We are seeking a permanent, full time Consultant Plastic Surgeon with an interest in skin cancer and hand trauma to provide support to the skin cancer service in West Wales, and also the long term reconfiguration of hand trauma provision in response to the COVID pandemic within Swansea Bay University Health Board.The successful candidate will join a team of 22 Consultants based in the Welsh Centre for Burns & Plastic Surgery (WCBPS) at Morriston Hospital, Swansea.The plastic surgery service provides outreach services to almost all acute hospitals in South Wales, and provides the full breadth of plastic surgery services except for complex craniofacial, serving a population of 2.3M people, and providing plastic surgery services to the Major Trauma Centre.We have been designated as the Adult Burns Centre for the South West UK Burn Care Operational Delivery Network, (ODN) which serves a population of approximately 10 million.
