Band 8a Advanced Arrhythmia specialist nurse –1.0 WTE (Band 7 development post may be consideredThis is a rare and exciting opportunity to work within the Electrophysiology (EP) team based at the Cardiac Centre, Morriston hospital, Swansea. We wish to appoint a Band 8a, advanced arrhythmia specialist nurse. We seek to appoint a dynamic and forward thinking individual who has a demonstrable history of leadership along with advanced skills and experience in managing patient cohorts who live with complex cardiac conditions.The post holder will lead a small team of arrhythmia and cardio-genetic specialist nurses to provide high standards of care to a broad range of patients diagnosed with arrhythmias, inherited cardiac conditions and / or having complex cardiac devices. He/she will lead, inspire and evaluate innovative pathways of care and embrace diverse mediums of technology in the delivery of prudent and patient focussed care.
