Job Description

We have recently been awarded a 6 year framework with Scottish Water to provide capital maintenance upgrades to waste and clean water assets.RSE is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Design Hub near Glasgow. Your role will involve overseeing all aspects of projects from design through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client specifications and current regulatorystandards.

  • Working in collaboration with our clients to ensure effective delivery of projects.
  • Provide technical support to the wider Design and Delivery teams, including mentoring of Graduates and Graduate Apprentices.
  • Develop professional service estimates and associated programme management.
  • Comply with RSEs Management Systems.
Essential:
  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of current design Standards covering British Standards and Eurocodes
  • Proven track record as an Engineer in a design office and/or construction environment.
  • Ability to follow, interpret and implement technical instructions.
  • Sound knowledge of all related disciplines and managing a team of Engineers
  • Be persuasive, encouraging and motivating and able to bring projects to successful completion
