Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Cumbernauld, is currently looking to recruit a Classroom Support worker, for an initial 6-month contract with option to extend on a rate of £12.78/hour PAYE. The role will be based in Cumbernauld.The working days will be 2/3 days per week. Applicants must have a current PVG in place dated within last 12 months. Responsibilities:- Provide classroom support for learners to enable access to the curriculum. This would include notetaking, prompting, reading, scribing etc.- Assessment and Exam arrangement support as required.- Monitor learner support needs.- Organise and prioritise technical/classroom support to meet service requirements.- Provide classroom support for learners to enable access to the curriculum- Liaise with teaching staff as required to facilitate student learning.- Enable learners to access a range of assistive technology and resources.- Support learners in their use of the equipment and assistive software available.- Monitor learner support needs- Ensure appropriate resources are available.- Provide feedback to the Access & Educational Support Team.- Organise and prioritise technical/classroom support to meet service requirements- Maintain appropriate records and reporting procedures - Contribute to the maintenance of statistics to support monitoring, review and evaluation of the service provided by the College.- Encourage learners to be independent and effective within the College, and the community.- - ICT skills required for production of paperwork, reports, and e-communication.Essential Skills:
