Production Team Leader Positions for either DAY SHIFTS OR NIGHT SHIFTSNight Shift £25,688 Basic +20% shift allowance= £30,825 Working Mon-Thu 8pm-6am NO WEEKENDSDay Shift- £25,688 Basic + over time Working Mon - Thurs 6am-4pm day shifts NO WEEKENDSWorking for a fabulous employer offering excellent benefits and career developmentReporting to: Line ManagerAn excellent opportunity for a focused individual that has Production Line experience coupled with excellent leadership / people skills and looking for career development with our world leading client specialising in luxury packaging who work with prestigebrands worldwide.Production Team Leader Job Purpose:The objective of Production Team Leader role is to lead a finishing team to produce finished goods to the agreed specifications and standards and achieve the daily planned output within the estimated labour hours.Production Team Leader Main Responsibilities

  • Ownership and accountability of line leadership
  • Follow company procedures and processes
  • Manage team in line with procedures and processes
  • Achieve daily planned target outputs
  • Monitor quality throughout production controlling waste levels
  • Accurate record keeping of production outputs, waste, and stock within company systems
  • Create a culture of Health & Safety awareness, good manufacturing practice, high quality standard, good housekeeping
  • Good communication with regular briefs to team
  • Building team effectiveness throughout the production, technical, quality and logistics teams
  • Understand improvement techniques
  • Actively involved in projects, plan, organise, arrange all that is needed to make it happen in operations
  • Maintain good facilities in the department, monitor ergonomics working environments for staff
  • Carry out any other duties as requested by Manager
Production Team Leader Knowledge / Expertise
  • Leadership and managing experience in a similar role in manufacturing
  • Must be able to manage/support production line workers, with the ability to coach and mentor staff
  • Works well under pressure
  • Team player, target driven, self-motivator
  • Numerate and computer skills
Production Team Leader Interpersonal Skills
  • Possesses the ability to lead a productive team
  • Works well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
  • Good problem-solving skills
