Job Description

HRGO are currently supporting our client in Cumbernauld, nr. Glasgow in recruiting a Team Leader for the manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to progress within a growing company.The objective of this role is to lead a finishing team to produce finished goods to the agreed specifications and standards and achieve the daily planned output within the estimated labour hours.Main duties and activity

  • Ownership and accountability of line leadership
  • Follow company procedures and processes
  • Manage team in line with procedures and processes
  • Achieve daily planned target outputs
  • Monitor quality throughout production controlling waste levels
  • Accurate record keeping of production outputs, waste, and stock within company systems
  • Create a culture of Health & Safety awareness, good manufacturing practice, high quality standard, good housekeeping
  • Good communication with regular briefs to team
  • Building team effectiveness throughout the production, technical, quality and logistics teams
  • Understand improvement techniques
  • Actively involved in projects, plan, organise, arrange all that is needed to make it happen in operations
  • Maintain good facilities in the department, monitor ergonomics working environments for staff
  • Carry out any other duties as requested by Manager

The hours of work are 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm, Monday to Friday plus 13 Saturdays per year.
