Job Description

We have recently been awarded a 6 year framework with Scottish Water to provide capital maintenance upgrades to waste and clean water assets.RSE is looking for a CAD Draughtsperson to join the team in our Design Hub near Glasgow. Day to day duties include working on nominated projects, producing CAD drawings on all phases of design, schematic and detailed drawings in line with project briefsand within agreed timeframes.Your role will involve the following tasks:

  • Liaising with Engineers in producing CAD drawings.
  • Producing detail and general arrangement drawings for the particular discipline
  • Development and Maintenance of CAD library.
  • Comply with RSE Engineering management systems
  • Keeping abreast of latest technology
The ideal candidate would have:
  • Good knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoDesk AEC collection; AutoCad, Civils 3D, Revit, etc.)
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately with attention to detail
  • Previous Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering experience
