Job Description

About the role We have a great opportunity for an ambitious individual to step up as an Operations Finance Manager as part of the finance team and supporting the Operations Finance Business Partner and the sites within the Sheetplants Cluster. The successful candidatewill be working across various sites by pro actively reviewing business challenges and providing analysis, insight, and solutions to manage operational costs and future improvement projects.This role ensures the month-end processes are actioned smoothly, as well as reviewing forecasts & budgets as required. This will link in with the continuous reviewing of our site operational performance and providing the data and insight needed to challengecurrent processes and improve overall efficiencies. Being able to manage multi-site P&L’s and the ability to action multi-site consolidations would be a key focus for this role, especially ahead of any internal audits and unit control reviews that are plannedin.As well as the day to day, the successful candidate will be able to implement their own ideas to manage, improve and streamline the cost modelling process and focus on innovative solutions to analysis data differently.So, if you are an have a finance background, have experience of working across multiple sites and thrive on making innovative changes to improve existing processes - then we might be looking for you!About you

  • Professional qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent with minimum 3 years’PQE
  • Demonstratable experience of working with multi-site P&L’s and multi-site consolidations
  • The ability to take an overall commercial view of each site from a financial perspective
  • Demonstrable experience of financial management and reporting
  • The ability to influence and confidently communicate and engage with a variety of stakeholders with varying levels of financial competence
  • Experience of presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Experience of managing others

Location: This is a hybrid role (working both on site and home), however flexibility will be required at busy times and travel to other sites.
