We’re currently looking for a Postgraduate Teacher of Classics to teach the subject to pupils in Years 9 to 13.The Classics department consists of seven teachers who all contribute to the teaching of Latin, Greek and Ancient History and are committed to making the Classics Department a centre for excellence in the study of the subject. You’ll also contribute to the wider activities of the department, as well as being able to play your part in the extra-curricular life of the College, including getting involved in sporting activities, social events and school trips.This is a great chance to deliver inspirational and informative lessons to the full age range and ability of our pupils. You’ll need a good level degree in a directly related subject. We’ll also be looking for 3 A Levels, IB or equivalent, an excellent knowledge of Latin language and Latin literature, and the confidence with either Classical Greek or Ancient History that would enable teaching to A level.
