Warehouse Operative - 40 hours per week, permanent roleMonday-Thursday 8am-5pmFriday 8am-2pm20 days holiday + bank holidays + company shutdown between Christmas and New Year (this is not taken from the holiday allowance)Auto-enrolment onto The Peoples PensionEarly finish on a Friday!We are recruiting for an entry level position on behalf of an international distribution organisation. We are looking for an ambitious and hard-working trainee to join the operations department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undertakein-house and external training. You will also receive training in other functions of the business, such as in the Technical Department. As such, this entry-level vacancy is ideal for someone looking to embark on a long-term career. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

Book collections with couriers

Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)

Perform inventory controls and stock taking

To fulfil customer orders

Keep a clean and safe working environment

To ensure the warehouse is laid out correctly and efficiently
Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment

Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

To maintain the safety of pallet trucks

Any other duties as required by the Warehouse Manager commensurate with the post

Ability to drive is desirable but not essential. Full forklift training will be provided.
