*FREIGHT OR CUSTOMS CANDIDATES ONLY CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE ROLE*CUSTOMS AND OPERATIONS COORDINATOR (CHIEF / SEQUOIA)SALARY BRACKET FOR ROLE: £25,000 - £30,000Jobfiniti Recruitment are working closely with a Freight Forwarder located in the Coventry area who are currently looking for someone with experience with CHIEF AND / OR Sequoia to join their Operations and Customs Team. This Freight Forwarder offers MultimodalFreight Forwarding Solutions however mainly specialises in European Road Freight. Due to the expansion since BREXIT changes they are looking to recruit someone with good customs knowledge to join their business.The role itself would be a mix between dealing with the Customs process and looking after the system along with being hands on with the Operations process. My client has explained the main thing for them is to find someone who would be proficient with the Customsprocess and would be happy to do a mixed role, they are happy to train the successful applicant on the full operations process, should they not have European Road Freight experience but other modes of freight forwarding experience.This is a company who have several offices across the UK, have a good reputation within the industry and are financially stable. For them employee satisfaction is especially importantto them and they like to ensure their staff have good opportunities to grow within the business and that they are given the right training to settle into the business well.Daily Tasks will / may not be limited to:* Responsible for looking after the Customs for Import / Export using CHIEF / SEQUOIA for a range of different commodities* Main point of contact for any customs queries* Be responsible for handling the day to day Operations process mainly via European Road Freight for Imports and Exports, dealing with Full Loads, Part loads and Groupage Movements* Liaising with Hauliers, negotiating rates and providing quotations* Looking after the day to day running of Customs* Due to having their own warehouse, bonded entries would be an advantage however not essentialIf you are someone who has Freight or Customs experience, who wants a new opportunity in the industry to try something new or to expand on your current skills, this is a really exciting opportunity, working for a really good forwarder with a great supportiveteam in place.If you are interested in applying for this role or would like some further information, please feel free to get in touch.
