If you thrive in a dynamic environment, possess excellent communication and management skills, and are committed to safety and efficiency, this role is tailor-made for you.Your Role: Contracts ManagerDuties & Responsibilities:* Develop and update detailed programmes of works and procurement schedules.* Ensure effective project close-out, addressing snagging and customer specifications.* Monitor and maintain high-quality standards, addressing issues with subcontractors and trades.* Keep accurate site records in line with Company and legislative requirements.* Identify and address potential issues affecting project delivery.* Safeguard the Companys contractual and financial positions.* Collaborate with the Contracts Manager/QS to monitor project financial status and implement solutions.* Manage preliminary costs within budget and report variations to the commercial team.* Lead the performance of direct reports and subcontract labour, ensuring safety and efficiency.* Communicate all necessary information and ensure adherence to Health & Safety standards.* Coordinate subcontractor activities to ensure efficiency and oversee performance to ensure work completion.Key Accountabilities Include:* Develop positive relationships with key employees and colleagues.* Conduct duties in a courteous and professional manner with clients, professional teams, and industry contacts.* Stay informed of current legislation, regulations, and Company policies.* Maintain a safe and tidy workspace, observing safety requirements and wearing PPE as required.* Report any issues affecting personnel or the Company promptly.* Contribute to contract feedback, review performance, and participate in appraisals.* Develop and implement detailed programmes and schedules for accurate monitoring and reporting of progress.* Implement statutory, regulatory, and company requirements for managing Health and Safety.* Secure and manage resources effectively for successful project delivery.Apply now to progress your career with Ultimate!
