Vehicle Technician / MOT TesterOrpington, BR6Mon – Fri 8:30am to 5:30pm1-in-4 Sat mornings on rota 8:30am to 12:30pm£36,398pa + uncapped bonus, OTE £40,538 paSubsidised car scheme from £99 per month£2000 Welcome BonusRenault Orpington seeks a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our dealership’s workshop.The role involves diagnosis and repair of cars and vans to the highest standards whilst maintaining optimal efficiencies and first-time fix.Candidates should have Main Dealer qualifications from any automotive manufacturer along with MOT Tester Certification.Alongside main dealer qualifications, we expect candidates to hold City & Guilds or NVQ level III in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, be fully equipped with own tools and hold a full UK Driver’s licence in order to carry out diagnostic test drives.The hours for this job are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm with 30 min lunch, plus 1-in-4 Saturday mornings on rota, 8:30am to 12:30pm.In return we offer a basic salary of £36,398per annum. This comprises Comprising £35,250 pa for weekday work and £1,148pa for 1-in-4 Saturdays paid at time-and-a-half. We operate a monthly efficiency bonus that is paid on top of this which add circa £4,000-£6,000 pa to your earnings.We are also offering a £2,000 welcome bonus to the successful individual when offered the job on or before 16th February 2024and commencing work by 19th March 2024.
