Sports Teaching AssistantMagisters Education have partnered with a Primary School in Edenbridge. The school cater for students from 5 to 11 years old. The school and staff aim to give their pupils the skills to move forward into mainstream education, the curriculum is highly personalisedand creative, they aim to develop pupil voice throughout all the activities and lessons.They are seeking an additional Sports Teaching AssistantThere are 2 roles that they are looking for.1) Working with 3 Reception pupils need support with language skills, attention span, toileting skills, ability to sit with others as they are learning well below their level.2) Or someone who can work with 3 x KS2 pupils who have extreme behavioural issues linked to their diagnoses of ADHD/ASD/Tourettes and need a routine of sensory circuits, individualised teaching and movement breaks.The school are looking for a Sports Specialist as they feel that the background will be advantageous. It is important that you not only have experience working with challenging behaviour but also have a basic knowledge and love for Sports. They are willingto integrate sports into the applicants weekly cycle.INDEDUKey Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with teachers and other staff to provide a safe and nurturing environment for students.
• Assisting with communication needs and promoting positive behaviour.
• Supporting students with physical and emotional needs.

Essential requirements:

• Experience supporting young people with special needs.
• Previous support work, TA or LSA work within a school or other child related experience.
• Enthusiastic, positive and friendly approach.
• A caring and professional manner, willing to support with the personal care of pupils.
• Must have legal right to work in the UK.
