Job Description

Are you a registered practitioner (nurse or AHP) with a passion for safeguarding Do you have the enthusiasm, motivation and commitment to make a real differenceThen this is the post for you!We are looking for a confident, organised and committed individual to join us on our mission to promote excellence in safeguarding ‘Think Family’ practice across the Trust.This is a newly-created role, following the reorganisation of the safeguarding team, and offers you the opportunity to build on your existing knowledge and skills in safeguarding adults and children.You will work in partnership with the Training Lead and wider team to develop and deliver mandatory and bespoke safeguarding training, and will be supported to develop skills needed to assist in delivery of the safeguarding agenda.We need you to be able to deal with complex situations and uncertainty, and to demonstrate mental agility and the ability to use your initiative in applying relevant policy and procedures. We ask that you bring a working knowledge of relevant legislation, including responsibilities under the Children Act, Care Act, and Mental Capacity Act, and can demonstrate sound communication and record-keeping skills.You will be required to work 3 days per week (between Monday to Friday, days to be agreed).Your base will be Crich Medical Practice, but there will be an expectation of travel across the county and the successful candidate will be expected to also work from home during Covid-19 restrictions.Please read the Job Description and Person Specification as the successful applicant will need to be able to meet all of the essential and/or desirable criteria.For further details contact:Mary Driver, onHelen Ashby, on ,
