On offer is a permanent role at an established Solar PV and O&M provider who are looking for a Solar PV Operations Coordinator/Design Graduate to join a dynamic, hardworking and growing team.The candidate will be responsible for dealing with initial customer enquiries, creating quotations and designs for Solar PV systems, and producing component procurement lists for the Operations Manager. The role also involves attending customer sites to carry out property/rooftop measurement surveys as well as obtaining other important information in order to produce final quotations. These new (domestic and commercial) PV system enquiries are mainly rooftop situated. Furthermore, the candidate will be required to assist with monitoring of their managed PV asset portfolio including performance monthly reporting on multiple sites, operating company software. The candidate will liaise directly with the Operations and Commercial Managers at Solar South West and will have direct interaction with clients and end customers alike.The CandidateThe candidate should have knowledge of the renewables industry, a desire to learn and a passion for sustainability. PV system and Electrical design experience would be beneficial but is not imperative. You MUST have a mechanical and electrical understanding and appreciation, ideally supported by relevant qualifications.Qualification/experience- Electrical or mechanical engineering degree or significant electrical PV design and installation experience desirable- Experience using PV design software PVSyst, Autocad, PVSol advantageous- Experience in designing DC & AC systems would be advantageous- Experience with battery storage is desirable- You must have a full driving licence- Candidates with mechanical or engineering design experience from within the forces are also encouraged to apply.LocationThe role will be based out of Crewkerne and operate predominantly throughout the South West of England, however, there may be projects further afield and they would expect the successful candidate to be willing to travel, including occasionally working away on site.About this company:Based in Crewkerne Somerset, this company is an independent PV installer in the UK, providing renewable solar energy systems through professional turnkey solar panel installation and maintenance services.
