Job Description

This is a great opportunity for two individuals to join an established firm in Crewkerne. Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have passed their AAT Level 4 however, we will have a discussion with anyone who is currently studying this qualification.As part of this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparing of accounts for a range of clients, partnerships, sole traders and limited companies. Experience will come from working within a practice accountant and you will need to have a goodunderstanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in using accounting software and other relevant tools.For one of these positions, we are looking for someone to be able to take more of a lead role and lead the activities of the team. This can be from someone who has done this already or has the relevant experience they can demonstrate they are ready to takethe next step in their career.This is a full time permanent position. You will work 37.5 hour week Monday – Friday. Salary range from £24,000 - £33,000 which is depending on the level of the candidate and what level of position applied for.
