Job Description

Quality Manager required for permanent, full time role based in Crewkerne, TA18. This client designs, manufactures and supplys technological systems such as secure communication systems, antennas, industrial embedded computing, custom lithium battery packsand imaging technology.

  • £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Monday – Thursday 0830-1700, Fridays 0830 - 1500
  • 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 29 days with long service

About the job
  • Managing the day-to-day activities and priorities of the Quality Team
  • Setting goals and objectives for the team, holding 1-2-1 and team meetings
  • Managing of all related non-conformance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Problem solving using LEAN techniques to identify problem root causes and effective corrective / preventative actions.
  • Manage Continuous Improvement projects by coordinating resources and monitoring progress to the conclusion of the project.
  • Analyse and the reporting of data for accidents, incidents, near misses and identify root cause analysis to improve operational practice.
The right candidate
  • Previous work experience in a role with responsibility for safety, health, environmental, quality and compliance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as this is a customer facing role
  • Confident with the management of successful Internal and External ISO audits.
  • Proficient in using all Microsoft office packages.
