Job Description

Junior Project Manager (Infrastructure)Salary: CompetitiveHours: 37.5 Hour week. Monday - Friday. Early Finish Friday.Package: 27 Days Holiday + BH, Life Assurance, Incentive Schemes and more.Other: Support and funding for PM QualificationsRole:

  • Liaise between the project manager and the technical disciplines involved in a project.
  • Primary technical point of contact for the customer.
  • Provide input at any stage of a project life cycle from tender / conception through specification, design, manufacture, test and commissioning, operations, and maintenance, and often leading technical warranty issues.
  • Schedule preparation, pre-planning, execution, and resource forecasting for engineering and other technical activities relating to a given project.
  • Ensure projects are completed according to overall project plans.
  • Liaise with the relevant senior engineers who is responsible for the overall resource scheduling, which must tie-in to the project managers project schedules.
  • Handle quality issue support on component or system level products.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Engineering qualifications
  • 5 years in Industry (Railway)
  • Rolling stock environment experience - advantageous
  • PM qualifications - advantageous
  • Electrical safety training and testing - advantageous
