A successful and highly reputable firm of chartered accountants based in Crewkerne has a requirement for an experienced Client Manager to join their team as a key addition, in a pivotal support role to the directors, taking on full portfolio management responsibilityand delivery of wide ranging services.Client DetailsBased in Crewkerne this chartered firm acts for very wide ranging clients across varying industries acting for wide ranging industry sector sole trader, partnerships and limited company OMBs, SMEs with typical clients up to £500k turnovers whilst also actingfor a small number of around 10 clients with audit requirement for charities, limited companies, solicitors and voluntary audits. The firm also has around 20% of clients related to the farming/rural sectors. You will be working closely with one of the firmspartners as a key support, delivering a wide spectrum of accounting, tax and all around services, along with advisory/planning services to your clients, building long term relationships. You will lead and manage the delivery of accounts, tax and wider services to clients across varied industries developing client relationships, taking on a portfolioreviewing accounts, disclosures, audit files (but only for those with audit experience, as it is not a necessity to bring audit experience as the client base can be entirely focused around accounts/tax dependent on the right persons background and areas oftechnical expertise and interest). You will need an all around skill set across accounts and tax as you will also work on wider advisory, planning projects in addition delivering on wider project work. You will have opportunity to progress and carve an influentialrole within this firm.ProfileYou will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent with a career background developed within accountancy practice, with skills across any mix of audit, accounts, tax and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnershipand limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment of any size.
