Job Description

Cabinet Maker, Crewkerne SomersetFull time, PermanentOur high end and highly refined customer based in the Crewkerne area is currently hiring a Cabinet Maker.Job Responsibilities

  • Ideally 2 years’ experience in furniture both fitted and free-standing
  • Proven ability to carry out a job from start to finish
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Proven ability to safely operate guillotine, stitcher, and platen press.
  • Proven ability in selection of veneers species, book matching, slip matching and quartering.
  • Experience making useful but not essential.
  • Proven skills in the use of woodworking hand tools
  • Excellent communication and professionalism both within team and on site with clients
  • Enthusiastic and hard working
  • Ambition and desire to succeed
  • An eye for detail and high standards of workmanship
    • Job Conditions
  • Monday to Friday
  • Contracted to 40hrs per week
  • Overtime is paid at x1.5
  • Salary is depending on experience
