Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner who will proactively lead and champion mental health awareness and support for our employees across the business. This role will deliver first class support to individuals suffering from mental healthchallenges, raising awareness with line managers of their key role, and ultimately supporting the business to minimise the impact of mental health issues in the workplace. You will be committed to raising awareness of and championing mental health in the workplace.We welcome applications from candidates who have a strong HR background with expertise in the management of mental health issues and who demonstrate a real sense of purpose to support employees and the business.Ideal candidate

  • As an established HR Business Partner, you will have sound generalist HR knowledge however mental health will be your real passion along with your desire to make a difference to employees. Your commitment and understanding of mental health challenges willshine through in every interaction
  • Well versed in dealing with complex mental health challenges and know how to guide managers and employees to the appropriate support in a timely manner
  • Organised, enjoy working at pace and be a natural communicator with experience in developing and implementing ideas to manage mental health in the workplace
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to easily engage with colleagues at all levels and build strong working relationships will be key to the success you will deliver and will be able to demonstrate from your previous roles
  • An understanding of how home and work issues affect employee mental health and have experience of putting in place relevant strategies to support the individual and minimise the impact of any time away from the business
  • Managing a volume of varying mental health challenges and complexities across the business will come naturally to you and you will be adept at maintaining a focus on resolution for each individual however varied the issues
  • Confidence to engage with Managers on mental health and have the strength of character to stand your ground where required to ensure that the mental health agenda is adopted by all managers in the business
  • We are a fast-moving business so our business priorities and customer needs can change rapidly so you will be able to adapt quickly and successfully as these needs change whilst maintaining your sense of purpose to support each and every employee with mentalhealth challenges along the journey
  • Actively promote equality and diversity in all interactions through your positive attitude and behaviours and coach others to do the same
  • Minimum CIPD level 5 qualified and actively progressing towards your level 7
The roleKey responsibilities
  • Manage the complete case load of mental health challenges across the business in partnership with the HRBP and have an individual plan of how to support the employee and optimise return to productivity
  • Develop key relationships with clinical and other support providers and develop these part of the trusted network of mental health professionals for the business
  • Design and provide practical mental health interventions to minimise the impact of mental health on employees wellbeing and also minimise the impact on time away from the business
  • Create a wellbeing calendar of key events and awareness campaigns
  • Manage the ongoing training and development of mental health first aiders in the
  • Continuously develop your knowledge of mental health and interventions from your wider network of mental health professionals and ensure the Frontier policies and procedures reflect best practice and a modern approach to mental health
  • Train and develop line managers in how to identify and support team members who may be suffering with mental health
  • Support the successful delivery of the wider HR strategy across the business and support the Business Partner team with other generalist HR and ER issues when workload allows
