Click here for more information about this locationThe Sissinghurst portfolio has a high profile with International significance, there are four properties open to visitors each requiring its own special approach ensuring that we deliver exceptional experiences throughout. You’ll be responsible for the management of our volunteers from recruitment and selection to developing volunteering offers and programmes.Youll have a sound working knowledge and experience of volunteering principles and practice and will be able to demonstrate the ability to adapt your style and tone to meet the changing needs of your audience. Youll also be able to recognise the key differences between staff and volunteering roles, particularly the legal framework, the approach to reward and recognition, and dealing with challenging situations.Youll have the ability to work and influence across all properties with close links to all departments at Sissinghurst will be critical to your success. This role will require you at times to be part of the Duty Management Team and to be involved operationally as required.
