Job Description

Since 2010, our clients design and installation team has been actively engaged in the solar panel, battery storage, and renewable energy sector, catering to both commercial and residential projects in the Kent & Southeast region. Committed to deliveringhigh-quality services.We are currently seeking a Solar PV Installer who can join our clients dynamic team and help install various PV systems on different types of properties, as well as carry out O&M servicing and repairs on existing Solar PV arrays.You will be required to travel to the office in the morning and then travel to site in the vehicles provided. Sites in areas such as Kent, Surrey and Sussex on domestic and commercial projects.Solar PV Installer/Electrician Position Overview

Install roofing components of solar electric (PV) systems.
Ensure all work undertaken is safe and that it complies with current regulations.
Ensure installations are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner to a high standard.
Assist on roofing aspects of domestic and commercial surveys and design.
Assist and work as a team with Electrical Engineers, when required.
Ensure H&S compliance in line with both corporate and legal obligations.
Ensure technical knowledge is continually kept current via both company and self-driven training.
Ensures project documents are complete and current.
Identification of project resources and works with materials efficiently and effectively.

Solar PV Installer/Electrician Position Requirements

City & Guilds/NVQ Trade Qualified or equivalent, demonstrable experience.
CSCS
Approved renewable installer
BPEC Solar Installer Qualified + Battery Storage
Level 3 Periodic Inspection and Testing | City & Guilds 2395
PAT Testing Level 3 | City & Guilds 2377-22
Level 3 NVQ + AM2 | City & Guilds 2356
JIB Gold Card ECS Approved Electrician

Solar PV Installer/Electrician Position Remuneration

£24,000.00 - £35,000.00 - DOE
Working hours 8:00 - 5:00.
