Job Description

Are you working in a role where you feel frustrated with the lack of progression and development opportunities Are you a qualified accountant with experience of managing a portfolio of clients and reviewing compliance If so then my client has a greatopportunity to join them as an Accounts and Tax Manager. Your role will be varied but will include: * Managing a portfolio of predominantly Limited Company clients, helping with their statutory reporting and business and tax planning* Reviewing financial statements, predominantly prepared under FRS 102, but may include some IFRS* Reviewing corporation tax returns* Reviewing VAT Returns* Supporting outsourced FD clients with management reporting and adhoc queries, managing the overall compliance and reporting processes.* Assisting with the training of junior team members (AAT and ACA trainees)The ideal candidate will be:* ACA or ACCA qualified with experience managing a portfolio of corporate clients* Competent in all aspects of accounts and corporate tax compliance and fully up to date with accounting and tax standards* Have the ability to prioritise tasks, work on own initiative and meet deadlinesIn return my client is offering a competitive salary, hybrid working and the opportunity to work with a portfolio of clients usually associated with a London based firm.
