Click here for more information about this locationThe Sissinghurst portfolio has a high profile with International significance, there are four properties open to visitors each requiring its own special approach ensuring that we deliver exceptional experiences throughout. You’ll be responsible for setting the tone and strategic direction in particular at three of our smaller properties, namely Smallhythe Place, Lamb House and Stoneacre. Youll have experience of managing visitor facing teams across all properties, in addition you will have a good knowledge of drawing on audience research, data and trends to inform visitor programming, experiences and operations and considering how we can grow the offer at each property over the coming years.Youll be involved in all elements of business development, in particular responding to audience insight to improve and develop an offer, inspiring others with a passion for nature, culture, art, heritage and the outdoors and using the team to help deliver and implement your plans. The role is very operational during the main visitor season and will initially require the successful candidate to work between properties gathering knowledge and understanding and building in a future resource structure, making the most of our volunteers and supporters. There will be time to devote some strategic planning in the off peak periods.The ability to work and influence across all properties with close links to all departments at Sissinghurst will be critical to your success. This role will require you to be a member of the Property Leadership Team, helping to strategically build our visitor business over the years ahead. This role will require you at times to be part of the Duty Management Team.
