A Procurement Lead (Purchase 2 Pay Systems Consultant) is required for a 6-month fixed-term contract to join the finance system replacement project .The role will start Immediately.Background: The Oracle NetSuite (ONS) system is to replace the core finance system (Quantus) . The business requirements for the project are: a) Implementation of Oracle NetSuite l b) Interfacing with Proactis Procurement Management System c) Defining and implementing improvements to Proactis and the processes involved with P2P Requirements from this Lead role in this project:The interface between NetSuite and Proactis: • Implement the new ONS Chart of Accounts in Proactis • Invoices (including scanning and recognition) • Credit Notes • GRNI and In-tray Accruals; Commitment Accruals • Budget Checking - budget loaded into ONS and referenced against requests to order in, and warning if insufficient in budget against a particular code • Payments • Review Templates, Forms and Workflows Proactis optimisation: • Review ‘as-is’ processes • Define and agree ‘to-be’ processesReview roles and responsibilities including delegated authority in line with SFI’s • Returns – Set up and utilise the returns function available in Proactis to marry the credit notes to complete 3-way matching • Punchout – Setup of Punchout for the NHSSC catalogue and the Stationery catalogue (via Commercial Group) Reconfigure Reporting interfaces: • Configure certain reports to run as part of the agreed processes and to deliver efficient ways of management reportingIndividualsThis role requires an individual with experience in procurement systems (preferably Proactis) and understanding procurement processes within a Hospital environment.The individual would be expected to perform as the procurement lead with oversight from the Head of procurement.The role will be responsible for: • Understanding current P2P processes and interfaces • Identifying, agreeing and defining process improvements • Identifying, agreeing and defining interface requirements • Understand, define and manage the procurement data migration requirements • Defining the reporting requirements for Proactis • Manage the procurement end of the implementation of all systems and upgrades required for the project • Compiling training plan for ProactisExperience in procurement/purchase-to-pay systems, supply chain and stock managementExperience in systems implementation and the complexities, interfaces and processes involved in working with separate procurement and finance systems.An understanding of financial systems and processesExperience in data cleansing, mapping, and data migration
