Summary Holidays are booming in the north east and we are urgently looking for a new Holiday Cottage Cleaner or a current National Trust staff who would like a minimum of 5 hours of work preparing our holiday cottages for our guests.You’ll need to be available between 10am and 3.00pm (there may be flexibility with the finish time if the applicant has prior commitments) and you will require your own transport as public transport is limited. Free parking is available.Hours:6 hours per week.The main changeover days are Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays however, short breaks mean that changeover days can also fall on other days of the week, and you would have the opportunity to work other, additional hoursif you are able to do so. Rotas are issued in advance, and we try to accommodate other commitments where possible.Salary:£10.50 per hour plus full benefits package (see below)Duration:Permanent.The post is based at Cragside with the cottages to be looked after a short 1 minute drive from the main estate entrance, less than a mile/2 minutes drive from Rothbury, 11 miles/20 minutes from Alnwick and 12 miles/20 minutes drive from Longhorsley.As this is an urgent role we will interview and possibly appoint whilst the vacancy is open, therefore we’d encourage you to apply as soon as possible.Internally youll be known asHolidays Operation Assistant. What youll be doing On change-over days, you’ll make sure that everything’s clean and prepared for our guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well presented and welcoming for our guests. We’d also like you to keep an eye out and reportany repairs or odd jobs that need doing along with replacing any broken items from the store supplies.Full Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) is provided for all teams and additional extensive measures in place to protect staff.Please also read the full role profile, attached to this advert.
