Job Description

Sanderson are currently working alongside a leading client to recruit for a Supplier Quality Manager, the role is a hybrid position working 3 days per week in the office based in Coventry.This is an excellent opportunity to join an international business, becoming a key leader in quality throughout the organisation, managing incoming quality control and being at the front end of new product development and current production design improvements.The Salary for the role is £50,000 with an excellent benefits package including excellent holiday package, private medical insurance, life assurance, travel insurance, income protection insurance and pension.Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Be a key leader in the day to day running of the Quality Department, managing incoming quality control) team, managing our Contract manufacturers Quality activities,
  • Generating, reviewing and verifying reports to confirm that the products meet Quality standards,
  • Responsible for Quality Assurance & Governance throughout the business, from front end new product development & introduction and current production design improvements through to our CEMs Quality Assurance activities and the back-end customer qualitycomplaints.
  • Management of the department KPIs, through Compliance, IQC, Corrective Actions and Supplier Scorecards along with our sister companies Quality KPIs.
  • Managing and leading regular internal review meetings and regular review meetings with our CEMs Quality Teams
Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience in a Quality Management Role
  • Experience in managing quality of international contract electronics manufacturers, suppliers and clients.
  • Experience or background in home safety or electronics.
  • Ideally, a Minimum of HND (or equivalent) preferably in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or related subject
  • Strong Standards awareness; (Mandatory)
BS EN ISO 9001 Quality Management System maintenanceMonitoring adherence to quality related procedures, identifying areas for improvementManagement and support of Internal audit activitiesAwareness of ISO 9001:2015
