Job Description

Looking for an experienced manager within the care sector to become the Manager of a start-up Supported Living service for a forward thinking, growing care company based in Coventry.This company has had great success in providing Domiciliary care throughout the Coventry and Warwickshire area, after securing a contract with the local authority there are now looking for an experienced manager to help them develop a new supported living service.You would be responsible for driving the development of the service from scratch, providing advice on where to locate the property and how to fill the service. It is an exciting opportunity to put your own stamp on the service and grow from the beginning, with the opportunity to progress into a regional manager available as they have secured a number of other contracts throughout the region. Previous experience managing a supported living service and good knowledge of the Coventry area is required.Key Responsibilities of a Supported Living Manager:

  • Commissioning the service from the start, finding the location of the property and filling the service
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with staff, service users and external stakeholders
  • Drive development and growth of the service
  • Ensuring quality and compliance
  • Supported Living Manager Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Supported Living Manager
  • Good knowledge of Coventry and the surrounding areas
  • Exceptional communication skills to ensure the branches reputation is enhanced and maintained in the local community, with customers, staff, health professionals and other stakeholders
