Job Description

SF Recruitment are working with a business based in Coventry (CV3) who are looking to recruit a Health & Safety Manager to the team £50,000 - £55,000 plus Car The company has a great reputation for their work in the UK turning over circa £10 million and this role is critical to ensure the health and safety performance is maintained in the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities of Health and Safety Manager will include: - Plan, implement, manage, and maintain comprehensive health and safety at the manufacturing facility in Coventry. - Supervise the development of the training matrix for all staff and ensure H&S inductions and in-house training is monitored and completed efficiently. - Be the primary contact for project site injury and incident notifications and ensure prevention inspections are completed on a regular basis and the appropriate records are maintained. - Provide project management and manufacturing teams with guidance on health and safety to ensure that the business fulfills its obligations under the Health & Safety at Work Act. - Write RAMS for the site. The successful Health and Safety Manager will have: - Experience with heavy manufacturing and construction - NEBOSH or NCRQ Certificate (or equivalent) and membership of IOSH - Excellent communication skills with experience in engaging with colleagues and a wide range of stakeholders - Knowledge of fire risk assessments and lifting operations would be beneficial
