Job Description

CV Screen is recruiting for an experienced Senior Buyer / Head of Buying who will have previous experience of the footwear industry to join a fantastic Retail organisation based in Coventry. A salary of up to £45,000 is offered.You will join a forward-thinking organisation who have significant growth plans. The company have over 40 stores in the UK and a fantastic online presence, offering career prospects for the successful candidate.YOUR DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Work closely with the Merchandising department to create and deliver an effective product and range strategy for the business
  • Oversee sample management in line with the team and business strategy.
  • Be responsible for departmental admin such as ensuring all purchase orders are raised in a timely manner, creating category SKUs, maintaining data accuracy and any other associated tasks
  • Creating meaningful dialogue with stores to improve product offerings through feedback
  • Liaise with suppliers for samples and key information to create new product lines
  • Create the product manual in time for new season product arriving in store
  • Represent the business at national and international trade shows
  • Maintain the buying schedule/plan within the critical path
REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience working as a Buyer / Head of Buying within the Footwear industry.
