Following investment and expansion, a global manufacturer serving the automotive, aerospace, defence and energy sectors has a new vacancy for a Finance Director operation near Coventry. You will lead the site finance operations taking day to day responsibilityand providing leadership to the finance team, candidates are sought with experience working in a fast-paced environment such as manufacturing, engineering, distribution, technology etc and you must be a qualified accountant. Commutable from:Coventry, Birmingham, Leicester, Rugby, Leamington Spa, Kenilworth.Salary: £ 75,000 - £ 90,000 p.a. + benefitsSuitable for: Finance Director, Finance Controller, Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Accountant, Financial Director The Role Generation of Monthly management accounts, statements, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Forecasts Presentation to Senior Exec Team to facilitate Management Decision Making Ensuring statutory reporting is done to a high level and on time Reporting of Financial and Manufacturing KPIs Financial modelling to highlighting business opportunities, decision impacts and risks Managing finance support team and overseeing sales & purchase ledger, Liaise with auditors and preparing audit packs Provide leadership and guidance to the team Support the product pricing and quoting process Performing financial analysis on the company to predict financial health Monitoring spending and creating annual budgets Ensuring the compliance of all group accounting and control policies Reducing costs and implementing efficiencies to increase profit. The PersonMinimum 5 years of experience in industry (manufacturing, distribution, engineering, etc) Good leadership skills Ability to prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and reports. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; strong skills in Excel required. Ability to work with all levels of personnel including senior management and key customers. Have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
