Our Apprenticeship Programme will provide you withthe opportunity to gain the skills, experience and qualifications you need to secure the job you want, whilst getting paid in full time employment. Although it is our intention to offer you a permanent role at the end of the scheme, Orbit cannot guaranteethis, however, the experience and qualifications that you will have gained throughout your time with us will certainly equip you for success in securing a permanent role in your career.You will also have the chance to work as a team with our other Apprentices and deliver your own project, having a real impact on the organisation. You may have just left school, or college, or may be coming to us later on in life, lookingto re-train in a new career.Your role at OrbitReporting to the Transactional Services Manager, the role of the Finance Apprentice will be to assist the team in providing an excellent finance service to our customers. You will support the team with tasks such as processing accounting documents and transactionsas well as dealing with customers and any finance queries.As part of the team you will gain experience of Orbits accounting systems whilst enhancing your skills in finance support and administration. You will learn about the processes and key functions within a busy finance department and develop core skills incustomer service.As previously mentioned, the scheme is a 15 month placement starting in September 2022.
