Job Description

Field/On-site IT TechnicianUp to £27,000 (DoE) + Fuel Coverage + Excellent Benefits package. ITIL, Network, Hardware, Software, IT Technician, Field, Onsite, AD, O365, Microsoft, ServiceNow, 2nd Line Support, 3rd Line Support, Cloud, Azure, MS Teams, Exchange, Laptop, Printers, MDM, Intune, Infrastructure, Outlook, Ticket. Based in Coventry, this role is hybrid, Monday to Friday and on-call weekends for occasional events.Must Drive, have Support/Help Desk experience and live in the West Midlands area due to commute.Our client is a foundation with over 1200 volunteers, who hosts sold out events all over the UK. The IT Technician would be working multiple projects due to growth and helping all end users and volunteers with any computer issues they face, either resolving or escalating accordingly. As the Field/On-site IT Technician - you will:

  • Take responsibility for calls by seeing them through to completion where possible. Proactively investigating calls when appropriate.
  • Make suggestions for improvement arising from observations.
  • Provide a clear, concise and customer focused service for all users/volunteers.
  • Ensure robust processes and control functions are followed within the ITIL framework.
  • Partake in all projects delegated.
  • Evaluate customers concerns and report to management on service desk support issues.
  • Deputise for Service Management Lead during absences.
  • Provide on-call cover at events across the UK, supporting the on-site users/volunteers with their IT needs.
