Job Description

HGV TechnicianDo you want to work for an established, growing company who are at an exciting stage of its developmentIf you are interested in a career within HGV Maintenance, then this HGV Mechanics position is for you...The position is with a Cambridge based company who are looking for an individual to join their team and grow the company with HGV Maintenance.You will receive - HGV Technician:

  • Temporary to permanent contract.
  • On site parking.
  • Pay rate of £12ph - £15ph.
Responsibilities - HGV Technician:
  • Manage the transport workshop activities alongside our in-house HGV Mechanic
  • Liaise with all managers to maintain vehicles and related equipment to meet required standards
  • Work with the Transport Manager to plan the workshop workload and communicate the plan to the Drivers and Operations
  • Carry out all in-house vehicle maintenance activities, in readiness for MOTs and servicing
  • Liaise with 3rd parties regarding any external maintenance requirements
  • Ensure workshop housekeeping standards are kept maintained
  • Support the maintenance team with activities as business priorities determine
  • Other ad hoc duties around the site
Desired Skills - HGV Technician:
  • C or C+E Licence preferred but not essential.
  • Light and Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair experience.
  • Vehicle maintenance.
