Job Description

It is our people that enable us to do that, which is why they are the heart of our business.We are looking for a Pump Operator to provide support to our fleet of road tankers, as well as the Filling Plant itself at Coryton. This role is extremely varied and requires excellent planning skills in order to achieve challenging scheduling requirements of all bulk LPG movements by road. This includes unloading tankers to receive the product into the plant and loading tankers to dispatch the product to our end users. Therefore, an understanding of plant process operations would be very beneficial.Our Ideal Pump Operator will therefore:

  • Have knowledge and experience of working with petro-chemical equipment.
  • Have experience of plant process operations, ideally within the LPG industry.
  • Have experience checking inventories and be comfortable inspecting pipe work and pressure systems.
  • Be able to accurately fill in log sheets and movement reports.
  • Be flexible and able to work on a shift pattern comprising nights and weekends, unsupervised and alone.
  • Have great communication, administration and numerical skills.
  • Be an excellent team player with the ability to liaise with people at all levels.
  • Ideally hold a current LGV 1 driving licence
