A leading multi model logistics business is looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join their London Gateway site. As a Customer Service Administrator you will be responsible for assisting the customer through the delivery journey; ensuring clearlines of communication with the Transport team and assisting with all administrative duties. The role is a mix of Customer Service and Administrative duties and so a background in both is essential. You will work closely with the Transport team to ensure customer service levels are adhered too; providing updates on delivery times and assisting withdrivers as and when required. From an administrative direction you will ensure paperwork is completed and provided to drivers; data entry and run relevant reports for customers and internal stakeholders. As well as a background in Customer Service and Administration; our client would ideally like someone to have a background in Transport or Logistics. Ideally the person will be confident; strong communicator and able to work under pressure. It would also bean advantage if you have worked with Transport Software but our client is able to train across their in house systems but you will need to be confident working on Microsoft Outlook; Excel and Word. The role will be based in their London Gateway site working Monday - Friday on regular day shifts starting between 6am-8am; the shifts will be 10 hours with a one hour unpaid lunch equating to a 45 hour working week. On offer is a salary of £25,000 - £30,000per annum depending on experience.
