Job Description

Are you a confident, resilient and experienced Call Handler looking for a role to demonstrate your customer service skillsReed are looking to recruit a Call Handler for their client based in Coryton on a temporary basis expected to last at least 6 months but with the potential to be extended.The successful Call Handler will work within an office-based environment with a supportive team, you will be responsible for handling calls from direct customers related to their energy supply.£10.77 per hour PAYEMonday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, 37.5 hours per week - you will also be required to work 1 Saturday each month, 9am to 1pm on a rota basisOffice basedStart date: ASAPKey responsibilities:

  • Handling a high volume of calls from customers (90 per day)
  • Dealing and managing large number of complaints
  • Making notes from call and direct issue to correct department
  • Maintaining a good degree of empathy and compassion with individual customers situations
  • Logging cases on the Salesforce system and providing customers with case numbers related to their issue
What were looking for:
  • Experience of dealing with high volumes of calls (upwards of 50 per day)
  • Proven experience handling and managing customer complaints
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • Patience, understanding and resilience
  • Ability to track information on internal systems
