Deputy Home ManagerSalary: £25,000Location: Corbridge, NorthumberlandContract type: Full Time (40hrs)Contract term: PermanentThis is a fantastic opportunity to join Cambian Dilston College at a really exciting time and to play an integral part in the team approach to supporting the positive change and reinvigoration of the College. The senior leadership team has a clear vision for the growth of the service and is in the process of overseeing a number of ongoing developments.We are looking for an appropriately qualified and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join us in increasing the provision of 52 week care placements that we offer students. The Deputy Home Manager will assist the Home Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose and uphold the organisations mission statement and values.The main responsibilities of the Deputy Home Manager include:· Managing and supervising a designated staff team· Completing quality assurance audits in the prescribed time frame· Ongoing review of Support Plans, Risk Assessments and Behaviour Support Plans to ensure consistent effective support that promotes independence.· Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the young people we support.· Supporting the staff team to implement "waking day curriculum".· Promote clear lines of communication within the college.· Attend and contribute to student reviews.· Plan and lead team meetings in an effective manner to further develop the staff team.Requirements of the Deputy Home Manager:· Strong experience working as a Deputy Home Manager/Team Leader in a similar setting· Minimum Diploma Level 3 Health and Social Care, willing to work towards Diploma Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care.· A broad knowledge of CQC standards and how these can be met and evidencedThe Cambian Group is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff to share this commitment.This position is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, satisfactory references, extensive pre-employment checks and a 6 month probation period.
