Job Description

Mechnanical FitterAre you a time served engineerDo you have experience as a mechanical fitterCan you work effectively in a bespoke engineering companySearch are proud to be working with a niche engineering company on their search for a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing facility based in Consett. Your primary purpose of the role is the dis-assembly, inspection, repair and re-assembly of variousrotating pieces of equipment, primarily pumps.This role is a permanent opportunity on a Monday to Friday day shift.Responsibilities

  • To ensure safe working practices are adhered to and assist in the improvement of safe processes.
  • Timely dis-assembly, inspection and repair of equipment to pre-determined deadlines.
  • Produce work to the highest standard to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Assisting in the generation of reports to company standards to meet with customer expectations.
  • Work within industry standards as per company procedures.
  • Support internal teams to get to the root cause of specific issues.
  • To take part in specialist or multi-disciplinary team activities.
Experience
  • Honest
  • Reliable
  • Punctual
  • Flexible approach to tasks and availability for overtime when required
  • Experienced in servicing / fitting / assembly of pumps and rotating equipment.
