We are an ambitious organisation and as a large provider of apprenticeships we are leading the way in delivering a range of outstanding servicesto learners and employers.An exciting opportunity has become available for a talented, highly skilled Web Development Team Leader to join the Team at Derwentside College.What you will doWe are seeking an individual with proven experience of leading a team and developing, implementing and maintaining software solutions using PHP and Javascript while showcasing strong customer service skills.You will manage, motivate, and support the College Web Development Team, lead on architectural decisions and play a part in the future technical direction of the team and its output while offering expert advice and strategic insights. You will participatein full life cycle software development and implementation, manage user experiences, coordinate with stakeholders and be actively involved in projects, working as part of a team to produce timely, fully functional enterprise level systems.You will be dynamic, driven, and ambitious with a determination to be successful, with a can do’ attitude and an ability to demonstrate a resourceful and imaginative response to problems and opportunities.What’s in it for you

This is a permanent, full-time post (working 37 hours per week).
