You will have a proven track record of excellent teaching that inspires and engages learners, with a keen desire toshare your knowledge, take part in professional development and collaborate with your colleagues in order to improve the learner experience. You will hold a relevant teaching qualification and a maths specialism, or be willing to work towards these.Those applicants who are in their first 5 years of teaching in FE could be eligible to apply for a levelling up premium through the Department for Education, which could pay up to £6,000 in the 2024/25 academic year, in addition to your salary.What you will doThe person appointed will be responsible for the planning and delivery of GCSE maths and Functional Skills maths curricula, which lead to high levels of achievement and positive progress.What’s in it for you

This is a permanent, full-time post working 37 hours per week. Regional travel may be required as part of the role; therefore use of your own transport, a current valid driving license and business insurance is essential. The starting salary will dependupon an individual’s level of qualifications and experience.This post attracts a recruitment and retention premium meaning the salary is up to £38,184 per annum as a result of market conditions.The College is positively committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children, young people and vulnerable adults who attend its education and training provision.
