Job Description

COMPANY OUTLINEAre you able to assemble masks for the NHS to help fight against Coronavirus Were working with a leading company in Consett who have a three month contract to produce face masks for the NHS with immediate starts available.THE ROLEWorking on technical assembly, you will carry out a range of duties on the assembly line, whilst adhering to health and safety guidelines, in order to help produce face masks to support the NHS. This is therefore a critical position and an opportunity for you to help support the NHS.ROLE REQUIREMENTSThis role requires:

  • A proactive, hardworking attitude, you will hit the ground running and take instructions well.
  • You to be good with your hands and in assembling components.
  • A good eye for detail.
  • A hardworking and committed working attitude.
  • A flexible approach to shifts with the willingness to commence work at short notice.
  • Due to the location of the factory, it would be advantageous if you have your own transport or live in the local area on Consett, Burnopfield or Stanley.
    • SALARY AND BENEFITSThe role is paying £8.72 per hour and will start with a 9.00am - 5.00pm day shift working from Monday - Friday, however, based on demand there is the potential to also have to work Saturdays.HOURS OF WORK AND TYPE OF CONTRACTThis is a temporary contract for 3 months, with multiple positions available, Positions will be split between a 6.00am - 2.00pm shift and a 2.00pm - 10.00pm shift.POINT OF CONTACT FOR JOB ROLEPlease call and ask to speak to Amy Laidler on or email your CV to
