Job Title: Takeaway Cook and SupervisorSalary:£18,000 per annumJob Type:Full time, permanent contractLocation:Combe Martin, North Devon Acorn Recruitment have a versatile and exciting dual role available with our client based out of the beautiful seaside down of Combe Martin. The role involves cooking in the busy takeaway, as well as organising the rota and ordering in stock, therefore previous experience within a commercial kitchen environment is essential.Duties*Working alongside the cook to ensure the smooth running of the store and takeaway*Putting together work schedules / rota*Share cooking and food preparation responsibilities with the full time cook*Assist and push for business growth and increase profitability whilst maintaining food quality *Build rapport with suppliers and customers*Responsible for ordering from suppliers and stock rotation *Ensuring clear allergen advise is available for customers*Producing a week report for business owner on Sales and MarginPerson Specification *2 years experience minimum of cooking in a commercial environment *Food Hygiene Level 2 Qualification*Ability to or willingness to cook Chinese style food is advantageous *Flexibility to work overtime during busy seasonal summer period from March-OctoberOther details *Full time hours, 40 hours per week*28 days annual leave per annumAcorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
